The 2010 Beautillion Committee and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Psi Eta Omega Chapter, encourages you to learn more about our Beautillion Program and consider making a donation to our Beautillion Scholarship fund via ads, tickets or patron sponsorship.
The Beautillion program is our chapter’s primary vehicle for highlighting the accomplishments and achievements of males from the Greater Columbus and Suburban metropolitan school systems. The Beautillion concept is a unique program, which seeks to further develop and prepare its participant Beau for transitioning into manhood through a series of workshops which expose the Beau to leadership training, community altruism, camaraderie, and social etiquette. The program-culminating event is the Beautillion. The Beautillion is an elegant black-tie affair in which the Beaus are presented to society and are recognized for their commitment and efforts during the program. It further provides the Beaus an opportunity to showcase a significant part of their lives, their Moms!
We are sure you will agree that the nurturing of our young men is paramount to ensuring their success as they mature into manhood. In furtherance of this objective, we promote and encourage good sportsmanship, educational excellence, friendly competition, and a wholesome attitude among the participants. Let us cherish the new friendship this experience will bring.
